The City of Parkersburg, through the CDBG program, offers community development programs and improvements that spur economic development and improve quality of life for residents.
Current Programs under the City of Parkersburg include:
Downtown Façade Program:
The City provides matching funds for commercial structures in the Downtown Central Business District. Funds, up to $10,000 per structure, can be used for exterior repairs to the buildings. Learn more…
Targeted Investment Neighborhood (TIN) Program
Focusing resources on a small area in the City of Parkersburg, the goal of the TIN program is to increase community involvement and reverse the trend of disinvestment in a neighborhood. The first neighborhood being targeted is the area between 13th Street to 19th Street, Avery Street to St. Mary’s Avenue.
Programs under the TIN include rental rehab, commercial façade program, owner occupied rehab, and more. Learn more….
