Peoples Bank announced that in appreciation of its clients and the community, it will be paying the tolls on the Memorial Toll Bridge on Tuesday, November 17, 2020.
“With Thanksgiving right around the corner, we wanted to show our appreciation for the Mid-Ohio Valley, which has been our home and headquarters since we started in 1902,” said Chuck Sulerzyski, Peoples Bank President and Chief Executive Officer. ”We know this has been a stressful year for many, and we felt like this is a great way to thank and show support for our clients and the community. We are very thankful for our clients and the support we have received from them and the community this year”
“On Tuesday, November 17, we will pay for the tolls of not just our clients, but anyone crossing the bridge that day,” said Tyler Wilcox, Executive Vice President, Community Banking Group.
Parkersburg Mayor Tom Joyce stated “Throughout the years, Peoples Bank has continued to invest in our community. On behalf of those who will cross the Memorial Bridge on Tuesday, November 17, I thank Mr. Sulerzyski and his leadership team for doing their part to make residents’ days brighter by covering their toll while on their way to and from Parkersburg.”
Peoples Bank associates will be stationed near the toll booths at certain points of the day on Tuesday, November 17.
